1

Prep your country ribs by applying your favorite BBQ Rub all over with a nice liberal coating.

2

Place them onto your grill using the indirect method or in the center of the barrel cooker at 275 degrees and smoke for one hour.

3

While the ribs are smoking, mix together your braising sauce by combining apple juice, 2 cups of BBQ sauce, and half an onion.

4

After one hour, remove the ribs from the grill and place them into the braising sauce. Pour the remaining BBQ sauce on top of the ribs, wrap with foil, and place back on the grill for another 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.

5

After about an hour in the braise, remove the ribs from the sauce and place them back on the grill over direct heat. Apply BBQ sauce to both sides and flip them after about 2-3 minutes to set and char the sauce.
