Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips and nuts until evenly distributed.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and tops are slightly cracked.
Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
