Preheat the oven to 375°F.

In a 9 by 12.5 inch stainless steel pan, add 1 pound of raw ground round, mashing it into the bottom of the pan.

Sprinkle onion powder over the ground round instead of using chopped onions.

Pour 1 can of cream of mushroom soup over the ground round, followed by 1 can of cream of chicken soup on top of that.

Grate an 8 oz block of cheese and sprinkle it over the soups.

Arrange tater tots on top of the cheese, either neatly or by dumping them on.

Place the casserole in the oven and bake uncovered for 45 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let it sit for about 5 minutes before serving.
