Jamaican Fish Tea

1 lb snappa fish head
1 cup pumpkin, diced
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup parsnip, diced
1 medium carrot, sliced
2 stalks green onion, chopped
1 cup yellow yam, diced
1 cup okra, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Scotch bonnet pepper (whole)
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1 tbsp fish seasoning
1 packet fish flavor soup mix
1/2 tsp salt

Boil water in a pot.

Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

Add 1 tablespoon of fish seasoning to the boiling water.

Drop the fish head into the pot.

Stir the mixture slightly.

Add all the produce ingredients (pumpkin, celery, parsnip, carrot, green onion, yellow yam, okra, garlic, Scotch bonnet pepper, dried thyme) into the pot.

Boil everything for about 30-35 minutes until the fish is soft and breaks apart in the soup.

After 10 minutes, add the fish flavor soup mix to the pot and stir.

Let the soup continue to boil until the desired consistency is reached.
