Add the chopped onion and garlic cloves into a food processor and chop until fine.

3

In a mixing bowl, combine the blitzed onion and garlic with 500g of minced beef.

Line the inside of a burger press lid with greaseproof or parchment paper.

7

Divide the burger mixture into 4-6 servings and place each serving into the burger press.

9

Remove the burger from the press and turn it out onto a tray.

10

Cover the tray with cling film and place the burgers in the fridge to firm up.

11

When ready to cook, remove the burgers from the freezer and cook them on a hot grill from frozen.

12

Flip the burgers regularly and check that they are cooked through with no red meat in the middle.
