2.5 to 3 pounds cod
2 cloves garlic
1.5 tablespoons chicken bouillon
1 teaspoon black pepper
juice of half a lime
1 large onion
jalapenos
yellow bell pepper
orange bell pepper
red bell pepper
cilantro
small can tomato
smoked paprika
2 teaspoons dende oil

Wash cod with lime juice and water, then cut into chunks.

Marinate cod with garlic, chicken bouillon, black pepper, and lime juice for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a heavy pan and add the marinated cod, cooking just until it gets color, then remove from pan.

Add half of the onion and bell peppers to the pan and sauté for 1.5 to 2 minutes.

Add crushed garlic and sauté briefly.

Return the cod to the pan, add paprika, and layer with remaining peppers and onions.

Lower heat and add tomato, chicken bouillon, and dende oil.

Cook for about 15 minutes until fish flakes easily.

Finish with cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice.
