Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet.
Place the ham steak in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
Flip the ham steak after about 3 minutes and cook for another 3 minutes.
Remove the ham steak from the skillet and place it on a clean plate.
Add another tablespoon of butter to the skillet and let it melt.
Add a heavy tablespoon of brown sugar and a dash of cinnamon to the melted butter, stirring over medium-low heat for 1-2 minutes until the brown sugar dissolves.
Add the ham steak back into the skillet and cook for another minute on each side.
Brush the top of the ham steak, flip it, and cook for one more minute until done.
Remove the ham steak from the skillet and serve.
