1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon turmeric powder

Sprinkle salt, turmeric powder, and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice on the sea bass fillets and gently rub the mixture onto the fish.

Leave the fish to sit for about 10 minutes, then thoroughly wash off.

Prepare the marinade by mixing 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil, 3 crushed garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon red pepper paste (or tomato puree), juice of 1 lemon, 1 teaspoon crushed coriander seeds, 0.5 teaspoon chili flakes (to taste), 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, and about 0.25 teaspoon black pepper powder.

Mix all the marinade ingredients together until well combined.

Place the thoroughly washed sea bass fillets on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.

Add salt to taste on the fillets and generously spoon the marinade over them, ensuring to coat each fillet well.

Turn the fish around and apply a little marinade to the back of the fillets as well.

Preheat the top grill in the oven to 250 degrees Celsius (broiling in the U.S.).

Grill the sea bass for about 15 minutes or until fully cooked through.
