Chop 8 oz of plain white mushrooms and 1 medium onion.

In a pan over high heat, sauté the chopped onion and mushrooms until golden brown.

Butter the bottom and sides of the slow cooker, using about 3 inches up the sides to prevent sticking.

In a bowl, crack 10 eggs and add 1 tsp of baking powder, 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour, and salt and pepper to taste.

Whisk the egg mixture until there are no lumps, then add 1 1/2 cups of milk and mix until smooth.

Pour the egg mixture into the greased slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.

After 2 hours, the omelette can sit for an extra hour if needed before serving.
