750 ml beef broth
2 pieces bay leaves
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
300 g carrots
500 g potatoes
1 and 1/2 tsp salt

Dust beef with flour, approximately 10 to 20 g.

Brown beef in a multi cooker with oil in two batches for 30 to 45 seconds on each side.

Remove browned beef and set aside.

Add diced yellow onion to the cooker and fry until translucent.

Add chopped garlic and fry until fragrant.

Pour in 200 ml of red wine and cook for 2 to 3 minutes to reduce alcohol.

Add 4 tbsp of tomato paste, 1 and 1/2 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp Italian herbs, and 750 ml beef broth.

Add 2 bay leaves and 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, stir to combine.

Return beef to the cooker along with its juices.

Lock the lid and switch to pressure cooking mode for 35 minutes.

Release steam gently and remove the lid after cooking.

Add 300 g of carrots and 500 g of potatoes, stir to combine.

Lock the lid again and pressure cook for another 10 minutes.

Release steam and add 1 and 1/2 tsp salt, stir to combine.

Remove the lid and cook down the sauce for another 15 minutes.
