1 cup dried apricots
1 cup dried figs
1 cup dried dates
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup almonds, chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
4 cups water
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice

In a large bowl, combine the dried apricots, figs, dates, and raisins.

In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Add the mixed dried fruits to the boiling water and let them simmer for about 10 minutes until they soften.

Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.

Once cooled, drain the excess water from the fruits.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened fruits with chopped almonds and walnuts.
