Green Chile Hamburger Soup

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups diced green chiles (canned or fresh)
4 cups beef broth
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until the onion is translucent.
