2 bay leaves

2 medium sized onion cut half
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tbsp ground black pepper
pinch of saffron
red food color
pinch of salt
20 grams butter
2 medium sized onion chopped
3 cloves garlic chopped
4 pcs cloves
4 pcs cardamom
cinnamon stick
2 bay leaves
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
3 cups chicken stock
2.5 cups basmati rice
1 dry black lemon
3 pcs chili pepper (optional)
1 tbsp chicken stock mix with pinch saffron
1 tbsp chicken stock mix with red food color
1 small charcoal

Prepare the chicken by marinating it with salt, lemon juice, ground black pepper, saffron, red food color, and oil.

In a pot, heat oil and sauté the onions until golden brown.

Add garlic, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, coriander powder, cumin powder, and black pepper powder to the pot and sauté for a few minutes.

Add the marinated chicken to the pot and cook until browned.

Pour in the chicken stock and bring it to a boil.

Add the basmati rice, dry black lemon, and chili peppers (if using) to the pot.

Cover and cook until the rice is done and absorbs the liquid.

For the smoky flavor, heat a small charcoal piece, pour a little oil on it, and place it in the pot to infuse smoke into the dish.
