1

In a bowl, add 4 eggs and 200g of sugar, then beat for 5 minutes until creamy.

2

Add 90g of melted butter and 50ml of vegetable oil to the egg mixture.

3

Incorporate 250g of Greek yogurt and mix well.

4

Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 400g of flour, adding half first and mixing well before adding the rest.

5

Mix until the batter is very creamy.

6

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

7

Grease a baking dish with butter and pour the batter into it, spreading it evenly to remove air bubbles.

8

Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

9

While the cake is baking, prepare the syrup by mixing 500ml of water, the juice of 1 yellow lemon, 600g of sugar, and the peel of 1 yellow lemon in a saucepan and let it boil.

10

Once the cake is done, pour the hot syrup over the cold cake, allowing it to absorb the syrup gradually.

11

Make cuts in the cake to help the syrup penetrate, but let it rest to absorb most of the syrup.
