Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
While the cake bakes, prepare the syrup by boiling water and sugar together until dissolved.
Remove from heat and add rose water to the syrup.
Once the cake is done, pour the syrup evenly over the hot cake.
Allow the cake to absorb the syrup for at least 30 minutes before serving.
