Onion 1 large
Tomato 1 large chopped
Salt 3 tsp (or according to taste)
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
All spices 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Dry coriander powder 2 tsp
Chicken cube 1
Saudi spices 1 tbsp
Black pepper pods 1 tsp
Green cardamom 5-6
Cinnamon 2 sticks
Taiz pata optional 1
Oil 1/4 cup (or a bit more)
Tomatoes 2 (for sauce)
Salt 1/4 tsp (for sauce)
Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp (for sauce)
Green chili 1 (for sauce)
Lemon juice 2 tbsp (for sauce)

In oil add black pepper pods, green cardamom, cinnamon sticks and sauté for a few seconds.

Add sliced onion and sauté till light golden.

Now add chopped tomato, green chilies, ginger, garlic cloves, lemon, and dried lemons.

Now add salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, dry coriander powder, all spices, turmeric powder, and Saudi spices. Mix well and add water (2 1/2 cups).

Cook until the chicken is tender.

Now add soaked rice and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes on medium to low flame.

Serve with special sauce and onions.
