Broiled Lobster Tail with Garlic Butter

Cut off the fins from the lobster tails.
Make an indentation to insert kitchen shears and cut the shell lengthwise.
Loosen the meat from the shell and lift it on top of the shell for presentation.
Score the lobster meat to prevent curling during cooking.

Brush garlic butter generously on both sides of the lobster tails.
Place the lobster tails in the oven on the bottom shelf under the broiler to prevent burning.
Broil the lobster tails for about 16 minutes, checking for doneness based on weight.
