1 Cup Boiled Saltfish

Wash 1 cup of saltfish and boil until it comes to a boil. Repeat this process one more time to remove most of the salt.

In a medium bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1 tsp of yeast, and 1 tsp of baking powder.

Add the diced onion, chive, pimento, chadon beni, and minced garlic to the flour mixture.

Strain the boiled saltfish, shred it, and mix it into the flour mixture.

Add 1 cup of warm water and mix until the dough is sticky and well combined.

Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.

Heat 2-3 cups of oil in a pan over medium/low heat.

After the dough has rested, drop 1 tbsp of the dough into the hot oil for each accra ball.

Fry for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
