Brochette de Crevettes

OtherXXmain
45 min
easy
4 servings
Servings4
1 lb (about 450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt and black pepper to taste
Wooden skewers, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes
Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
1

Prepare the shrimp by peeling and deveining them if not already done. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

2

In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons olive oil, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

3

Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the marinade. Allow the shrimp to marinate for about 15-30 minutes in the refrigerator.

4

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

5

Thread the marinated shrimp onto the soaked wooden skewers, dividing them evenly among the skewers.

6

Place the shrimp skewers on the preheated grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them.

7

Once the shrimp are cooked, remove them from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
