Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
  • 4 tea bags (black tea)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh raspberries and lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. 2Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. 3Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  4. 4Add the fresh raspberries and lemon juice to the tea mixture.
  5. 5Using a muddler or fork, gently mash the raspberries to release their flavor.
  6. 6Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then strain it through a fine mesh sieve to remove the raspberry pulp.
  7. 7Refrigerate the strained tea until chilled, about 1-2 hours.
  8. 8Serve the tea over ice cubes in glasses.
  9. 9Garnish with fresh raspberries and lemon slices before serving.

  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chopped carrots
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 package (16 oz) gnocchi
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. 1In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. 2Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. 3Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. 4Add the chopped carrots and celery, cooking for about 5 minutes until they begin to soften.
  5. 5Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
  6. 6Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.
  7. 7Add the shredded chicken and gnocchi, cooking until the gnocchi float to the top, about 3-5 minutes.
  8. 8Stir in the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
  9. 9Remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. 1In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. 2Add the sliced apples to the skillet and stir to coat them in the butter.
  3. 3Sprinkle the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg over the apples and stir well.
  4. 4Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  5. 5Cover the skillet and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are tender.
  6. 6Remove the lid and continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  7. 7Stir in the vanilla extract and chopped pecans, if using.
  8. 8Cook for another minute to combine the flavors.
  9. 9Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
