Melt butter in a medium sized mixing bowl.
Weigh out sourdough starter.
Add salt and herbs to the bowl and stir until completely combined, ensuring no butter is floating on top.
Dump the mixture onto parchment paper and use an offset spatula to spread it into a thin and even layer.
Sprinkle the top with salt.
Transfer the parchment paper onto a baking sheet.
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and score the dough with a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
Return to the oven and bake for another 50 minutes.
Let cool completely before breaking apart.
