It features tender beef stir-fried with a sweet and savory sauce, often enjoyed in restaurants. 1 kg beef
1.5 tsp white pepper
3 tsp soy sauce
black pepper
2 tbsp corn flour
1 tbsp rice flour
4 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp ginger garlic
1.5 tbsp red chilli flakes
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup yakhni (broth)
green onion for garnish
white sesame seeds for garnish

Cut beef into thin strips.

Marinate beef with 1.5 tsp white pepper, 3 tsp soy sauce, black pepper, and 2 tbsp corn flour.

Optionally add 1 tbsp rice flour for crispiness.

Add 4 tbsp rice vinegar and mix well. Marinate for 20-30 minutes.

Prepare ginger garlic and red chilli flakes.

Heat 1/2 cup oil in a pan.

Add marinated beef to the hot oil and fry for about 10 minutes until browned.

Remove beef from the pan and set aside with the sauce.

In the same pan, add ginger garlic and crushed red pepper, frying until fragrant.

Add 2 tbsp brown sugar and 1/2 cup yakhni to the pan to make the sauce.

Thicken the sauce with corn flour if desired.

Return the beef to the pan, mixing well with the sauce.

Adjust salt to taste and add a little soy sauce if needed.

Garnish with green onion and white sesame seeds before serving.
