Let the dough cool, then cover with cling film to prevent sticking.
Wet your hands with sugar syrup to prevent the dough from sticking while handling.
Fill a piping bag with mascarpone cheese and pipe it along the edge of the dough.
Using cling film, roll the dough into tight logs and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Drizzle the rolls with the sugar syrup and top with crushed pistachios and rose petal jam.
