Mix bread flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.

Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
In a separate bowl, mash the sardines and mix with chopped onion, bell pepper, garlic, black pepper, and curry powder.
Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
Spread the sardine mixture evenly over the dough.
Roll the dough tightly into a log and tuck the ends in.
Place the rolled dough in a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
Brush the top with beaten egg and milk for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing.
