Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into equal pieces.
Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake the buns until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
Mix powdered sugar with heavy cream to create a glaze.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm buns before serving.
