Slice the tofu through the packaging (dotted line), then squeeze out the tofu and slice the tofu up into disks.

Cut the ginger into small cubes and cut the chili and scallion into rings.

Fry the tofu for until golden (5 minutes per side), then drain off the oil on the paper towel.

Heat up the oil in the pan, add the ginger and fry until golden, add the chili, sugar, soy sauce, tomato ketchup, cornstarch + water, sesame seeds, mix it well.

Cook the sauce until the liquid has thickened, a few minutes.

Pour the sauce on the top, then sprinkle the scallion.
