1

Combine 2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt in a bowl.

2

Add 1 packet of yeast (or 2 1/4 teaspoons if using from a bottle) and mix together by hand.

3

Pour in 8 ounces of warm water and mix by hand until combined.

4

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.

5

Prepare the no-cook pizza sauce by combining 14 ounces of tomatoes (drained), 1 minced garlic clove, 1 teaspoon olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon sugar, 1/4 teaspoon oregano, and 3-4 chopped basil leaves in a bowl, crushing the tomatoes by hand.

6

Cover the sauce with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.

7

Pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil into a cast iron skillet.

8

Take the pizza dough out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

9

Press the dough into the cast iron skillet, spreading it towards the edges and allowing some olive oil to come up on top of the dough.

10

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise for 1.5 to 2 hours.

11

After 90 minutes, remove the plastic wrap and spread 1/2 cup of pizza sauce over the dough.

12

Sprinkle 3 cups of cheese (1 1/2 cups mozzarella and 1/2 cup muenster) over the sauce, pushing some cheese against the edge of the pan.

13

Add desired toppings: green peppers, pepperoni, and chunks of Italian sausage.

14

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and bake the pizza for 25 to 30 minutes.

15

After 25 minutes, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for 3 minutes.

16

Use a butter knife to loosen the cheese from the sides of the pan and check the bottom of the crust.

17

If the bottom is not crispy enough, turn on the burner and cook for a couple more minutes on the stove.

18

Let the pizza sit on a cutting board for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
