Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until it melts into the sauce and becomes smooth and creamy. Continue to cook the sauce for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Season the sauce with salt and black pepper. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste preference.
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta and the cooked chicken to the sauce. Toss gently to coat each strand of pasta and evenly distribute the chicken throughout.
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the pasta and chicken to absorb the flavors of the creamy Alfredo sauce.
Remove the skillet from heat and let the pasta rest for a minute. This allows the sauce to thicken slightly.
Serve the creamy chicken Fettuccine Alfredo in bowls or plates. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color and added freshness.
