Peel 9 lemons carefully, avoiding the white pith.

Place the lemon peels into a large jar.

Let the lemon peels steep in the alcohol for 20 days until it becomes yellow and fragrant.

After 20 days, boil 1.5 liters of water.

Add 700 grams of sugar to the boiling water and stir until dissolved.

Allow the sugar water to cool.

Strain the lemon peels using a colander to remove them from the alcohol.

Combine the strained alcohol with the cooled sugar water.

Rinse the lemon peels with a glass of water to extract any remaining alcohol.

Mix well to combine everything together and the limoncello is ready!

Bottle the limoncello and refrigerate it to serve chilled.
