2 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. ginger
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. molasses
1 c. hot water
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease loaf pan with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, allspice and salt. Set aside. Using an electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract. In a small bowl, whisk molasses and hot water until combined. Stir into egg mixture. Gradually stir flour mixture into egg mixture, forming the dough.

Pour batter into loaf pan, filling it 2/3 of the way up. Bake 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes before removing from pan, then cool an additional 30 minutes. Make glaze: Whisk powdered sugar, milk and cinnamon. Drizzle on top of gingerbread loaf.
