1 habanero pepper
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups water
2 tomatoes
1 medium onion
1/2 cup palm oil
6 oz smoked mackerel
1 cup mimmony

Wash the coco yam thoroughly and place it in a pot.

Pour enough water to cover the coco yam and add some salt.

Set it on a cold pot fire and cover with a plantain leaf to cook.

Add the habanero pepper to the pot to boil along with the coco yam.

Once the pepper is soft, remove it and place it in a bowl.

Slice some onions onto the pepper and begin grinding.

Add a bit of salt to taste and continue grinding.

Lightly roast the tomatoes on a charcoal fire and toast the mimmon as well.

Add the roasted tomatoes to the ground pepper mixture.

Pour some palm oil into a pot and heat it, then slice in some onions and fry briefly.

Take it off the fire and pour the hot oil with onions into the pepper mixture, mixing everything together.

Add the warm smoked mackerel and mix thoroughly.
