1 cup peanut butter
2 cups sugar
1 cup corn syrup
7 cups rice krispies cereal
6 ounces chocolate chips
6 ounces butterscotch chips

Combine 1 cup peanut butter, 2 cups sugar, and 1 cup corn syrup in a saucepan.

Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved and well combined.

Pour the peanut butter mixture over 7 cups of rice krispies cereal and mix thoroughly.

Transfer the mixture into a 9 by 13 inch pan without greasing it and flatten it down using your fingers.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 6 ounces of chocolate chips and 6 ounces of butterscotch chips.

Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and combined.

Pour the melted chocolate and butterscotch mixture over the rice krispies layer in the pan.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the chocolate is solid.

After refrigeration, cut into bars, noting that it may be easier to let it sit out for a while before cutting.
