Stir fry beef in broccoli & cashew nuts

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 medium green pepper, sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
1 inch ginger, grated
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 cup cashew nuts
for serving: steamed rice

Heat oil in a wok over high heat.

Cook the beef in batches for 1 to 2 minutes until well browned, then remove and set aside.

Heat more oil in the wok over medium-high heat.

Add onion, green pepper, broccoli, ginger, garlic, chili powder, salt, and soy sauce to the wok.

Add some water to steam the vegetables until tender.

Return the beef to the wok and mix until well combined and heated through.

Scatter the cashew nuts on top and serve over steamed rice.
