Chocolate Bark

AmericanUSdessert
120 min
easy
12 servings
Servings4
2 cups dark chocolate chips
1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup sea salt
1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Quantities are estimated based on standard recipes for your convenience. The actual ingredients used in this video are accurate.

1

Cut a plastic cover from an old folder to use as a base for the chocolate bark.

2

Wash and pat dry the plastic sheet, then place it on a baking sheet.

3

Microwave dark chocolate for 1 minute, then stir. Continue microwaving in 15-second increments until smooth, being careful not to overcook.

4

Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the plastic sheet and use a flat spatula to spread it thinly.

5

Place the dark chocolate in the fridge to harden.

6

Melt white chocolate using the same method as the dark chocolate until smooth.

7

Transfer the melted white chocolate into a disposable piping bag, pushing it down to remove air bubbles.

8

Snip a tiny bit off the piping bag and pipe your desired design onto the hardened dark chocolate.

9

Let the white chocolate design set for about 20 minutes.

10

Optionally, drizzle more melted dark chocolate over the white chocolate design for added detail.

11

Break the chocolate bark into tiny pieces for garnish.
