Roast the peanuts in a pan until partially brown.
Transfer the peanuts to a food processor and coarsely grind them.
Add black sesame seeds and sugar to the food processor and grind everything into powder.
Transfer the dry mix to a mixing bowl.
In the pan, melt 2 sticks of butter.
Gradually add the melted butter to the dry mix in two batches and mix really well.
Transfer the sesame filling into a baking pan and smooth the surface with a spatula.
Chill the sesame filling in the fridge until solidified, about 4 hours.
Carefully cut the solidified sesame filling into 1-inch cubes.
To make the dough, gradually add water to glutinous rice flour in a mixing bowl and knead until it forms a smooth ball.
Cover the dough with a wet towel to prevent it from drying out.
Divide half of the dough into four portions and roll each portion into a ball.
Work with your thumb to turn the dough ball into a bowl shape.
Add a piece of sesame filling into the dough and seal the opening completely.
Gently roll the ball until the surface is smooth.
Place the rice ball on a flour-covered plate and repeat the process until the rest of the dough is finished.
In a pot of boiling water, cook the stuffed rice balls for 6 to 8 minutes.
Once done cooking, transfer the glutinous rice balls to a serving bowl and serve immediately with some of the boiling liquid.
