1

Add 1.5 cup sugar to a small saucepan over medium heat and let it simmer, stirring occasionally until it turns a beautiful amber color.

2

When the caramelized sugar is an amber color, pour in step by step hot water and stir well.

3

Pour the caramel into the bundt pan, swirling it around the bottom and up the sides. Let it cool down.

4

Add 3 eggs, 1 can of sweetened condensed milk, and 1 cup of milk to a blender. Pulse a few times to combine everything, then set the custard aside and let it rest for 20 minutes.

5

Pour the custard into the caramel-coated bundt pan. Cover it with cooking foil.

6

Pour boiling water into the roasting pan until the water is about halfway up the sides of the bundt pan.

7

Bake at 180°C for one hour and a half.

8

Refrigerate in the pan for at least 4 hours or preferably overnight, covering with plastic wrap.

9

To unmold, place the bundt pan over hot water for about 10 seconds to heat the caramel sauce.

10

Place a serving plate on top of the bundt pan and flip them together to unmold the flan.
