Wash 1/2 kg broad beans and set aside.

In a pot, add enough water to submerge the beans and 1 teaspoon salt; bring to a boil.

Boil the beans on high flame for about 5-6 minutes until tender.

Drain the water and mash the beans slightly to remove excess water.

Set the mashed beans aside to dry.

In a mixer jar, add 1 cup roasted peanuts, 10 dried red chilies, and salt to taste; grind to a fine powder.

Add 10 cloves of garlic to the ground mixture and blend again until well combined.

Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and the ground mixture to the hot oil; sauté until fragrant.

Chop and add 1 medium onion to the pan; cook until the onion is translucent.
