Remove eggs from boiling water and cool in an ice bath for 5 minutes.

Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.

Scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl and place the whites on a serving platter.

Mash the yolks with a fork until crumbly.

Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and black pepper to the yolks and mix until smooth.

Fold in finely chopped ham into the yolk mixture.

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.

Sprinkle paprika on top for color and flavor.

Garnish with chopped chives before serving.
