Smoked Deviled Eggs with Bacon

Start by grilling hard boiled eggs on the grill for about 10 to 15 minutes at 200 degrees to infuse them with smoky flavor.
Prepare the filling by taking the insides of 6 hard boiled eggs and placing them in a mixing bowl.
Add 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise to the egg yolks.
Add 1 tablespoon of grated sharp cheddar cheese to the mixture.
Add 1 teaspoon of stone ground mustard for flavor.
Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
Render off some bacon fat and add about a tablespoon of it into the filling mixture.
Mix the filling until well combined and smooth.
Transfer the filling into a pastry bag or a Ziploc bag for easy piping.
Cut a small piece off the top of each grilled egg to create a flat base, then slice the eggs in half lengthwise and remove the yolks.
Pipe the filling back into the smoked egg whites.
Garnish with chopped chives and crumbled bacon on top of the filled eggs.
