Cut off the wingtip of the chicken wings and separate the drums from the flats by finding the gap between the joints and pressing with a knife.
Dry the chicken wings with a paper towel to make them crispier.
Place the wings into a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1.5 tablespoons of baking powder.
Mix all the ingredients together.
Transfer the wings to a sheet pan with a rack, leaving room between them for airflow.
Bake the wings at 425°F for 20 minutes.
While the wings are baking, prepare the buffalo sauce by combining 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, 3/4 cup of Frank's hot sauce, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 cup of unsalted butter in a saucepan.
Incorporate the butter into the sauce over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until combined.
After the first 20 minutes, remove the wings from the oven and flip them over.
Return the wings to the oven for an additional 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, flip the wings again and bake for another 10-15 minutes, depending on the size of the wings.
Remove the wings from the oven, transfer them to a bowl, and pour some buffalo sauce over them to lightly coat.
Place the wings back onto the sheet pan and broil on low for 4 minutes.
Remove the wings from the oven, add more sauce, and mix well.
Serve the wings with ranch dressing, carrots, and celery sticks.
