Beat 8 eggs in a bowl.

Add 2 cups of milk to the eggs and mix well.

Add brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt to the mixture and mix again.

Cube fresh baked french bread and place it in a greased 9x13 baking dish.

Pour the egg and milk mixture over the cubed bread in the baking dish.

Cover the dish and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Bake the casserole for about 45 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and top with berries and mint leaves.

Drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
