Toast walnuts in a pan over low heat until lightly roasted, then let them cool down.
Add basil leaves, garlic, walnuts, parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper into the food processor.
Squeeze in lemon juice after blending the other ingredients.
Pulse the mixture, then drizzle in about 5 tablespoons of olive oil while blending until desired consistency is reached.
