1

Soak 1 cup and 3/4 of chickpeas overnight in water, changing the water twice.

2

In a bowl, combine soaked chickpeas, 1 tablespoon crushed garlic, 1/2 teaspoon garlic chili sauce, 1/2 cup chopped onions, and 1 tablespoon green seasoning. Do not add salt yet.

3

Pressure cook the chickpeas without salt until soft, about 8 minutes, checking for softness and adding more time if needed.

4

After cooking, use a potato masher to mash some of the chickpeas, leaving some whole. Add salt and 1 teaspoon cumin, along with 1 tablespoon of green seasoning, and stir to combine.

5

In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon yeast, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

6

Add lukewarm water gradually to the dry ingredients to form a dough. Cover with a damp paper towel and let rise for 1 hour, applying 1 teaspoon of coconut oil on top to keep it moist.

7

After the dough has risen, pinch out some balls and oil your hands and the surface to prevent sticking. Flatten each ball as thin as possible.

8

Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the flattened dough until golden brown, flipping quickly as they fry.
