1 1/2 Lb (600 g) Dates
3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
400 g Butter
1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
1 Tsp Cardamom Powder
3 Tsp White Sesame

Grind/mash the dates.

Grease a rolling pin and spread the mashed dates over plastic or a flexible nonstick sheet.

Heat 3/4 cup of all-purpose flour in a pan over medium heat until light brown, stirring continuously.

Add 1 tsp cinnamon powder & 1 tsp cardamom powder, keep stirring.

Add 400 g butter to the pan and continue stirring for a few more minutes. Turn the heat off, stir, and let cool down for a few minutes.

Spread the batter on top of the dates layer.

Begin rolling the roulette gradually and put pressure each time.

Put the roulette in the refrigerator for two hours.

Cut the roulette vertically as preferred.

Sprinkle sesame over the roulette before serving.
