In a pan, heat 4.5 tbsp of olive oil on high heat and sauté the onions, stirring constantly to prevent burning for about 12 minutes.

Add half a cup of water to the onions and mash them with the back of a spoon until they melt into the lentils.

Add 1 cup of bulgar and 2 cups of water to the mixture with the caramelized onions and mix well.

Add 3 to 4 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil, cover, and cook on low heat for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes, check for doneness and adjust salt to taste.

Cover with a tea towel and let sit for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.

Prepare a salad with chopped radishes, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh mint, and fresh chives.

Dress the salad with the juice of half a lemon, 3 to 4 tbsp of olive oil, and 1 tbsp of pomegranate molasses, seasoning with salt to taste.
