2-3 tablespoons oil
4 - 5 Garlic cloves, chopped
1 tomato- Tomato puree
100 ml Cream
2 TBSP Cream cheese
4 - 5 Basil leaves
Salt

Fill the pot with cold water and bring to a boil, reduce the heat to medium-low, add gnocchi and cook until al dente.

Drain and let cool slightly until cool enough to handle but still warm.

Make the sauce: in a large skillet, heat oil, add chopped garlic, and sauté for 2 minutes.

Pour in tomato puree, simmer for 5 minutes, then add 5 whole tomatoes cut into small sizes, add 100 ml cream and 2 tbsp cream cheese, salt and pepper to taste, cover and cook until the tomatoes soften on low heat.

Crush the tomatoes into the sauce and remove flesh if needed.

Add gnocchi and mix well.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves.

Serve immediately and grate some parmesan cheese on top (optional).
