Green Plantain Accra

2 cups grated green plantain
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon chopped onions
1 tablespoon chopped red seasoning peppers
1 tablespoon chopped scallions
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon baking powder

Peel the green plantains.

Grate the plantains until you have about 2 cups of grated plantain.

Transfer the grated plantain to a blender or food processor to make a smooth batter.

Add 2 tablespoons of water to the blender.

Add 1 tablespoon of chopped onions, 1 tablespoon of chopped red seasoning peppers, 1 tablespoon of chopped scallions, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder to the blender.

Blend the mixture until smooth.

Heat oil in a pan for frying.

Spoon the batter into the hot oil and fry for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Remove the fried accra from the oil and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
