Nutritional yeast adds a cheesy flavor with fewer calories.

Rinse the asparagus stalks.

Cut off the bottom 2 inches of the stalks.

Place the asparagus in a large dish and drizzle 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil over them.

Coat the asparagus well with the olive oil.

Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of lemon pepper over the asparagus and mix well.

Preheat the grill on high heat.

Place the asparagus on the grill and close the lid.

After 2-3 minutes, open the lid and turn the asparagus.

Once the asparagus starts to get charred marks, close the lid for another minute.

Check if the asparagus is ready; it should smell great.
