Instructions

  1. 1Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. 2Layer lettuce on the unbuttered side of one slice.
  3. 3Add slices of cucumber, tomato, and onion on top of the lettuce.
  4. 4Sprinkle black pepper and salt over the vegetables.
  5. 5Place cheese slices over the vegetables.
  6. 6Add bell pepper slices for extra crunch.
  7. 7Spread mayonnaise or chutney on the other slice of bread.

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1/2 cup green chutney
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Spread 2 tablespoons of green chutney on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. 2On two of the slices, layer the cucumber, tomato, and onion evenly.
  3. 3Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the vegetables.
  4. 4Add fresh cilantro leaves on top of the vegetables.
  5. 5Top with the remaining slices of bread, chutney side down.
  6. 6Press down gently to secure the sandwich.
