Instructions
- 1Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- 2Layer lettuce on the unbuttered side of one slice.
- 3Add slices of cucumber, tomato, and onion on top of the lettuce.
- 4Sprinkle black pepper and salt over the vegetables.
- 5Place cheese slices over the vegetables.
- 6Add bell pepper slices for extra crunch.
- 7Spread mayonnaise or chutney on the other slice of bread.
- 8Close the sandwich with the second slice, buttered side out.
- 9Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwich until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 10Remove from skillet and cut the sandwich diagonally.
- 11Serve with extra chutney or ketchup.

Instructions
- 1Spread 2 tablespoons of green chutney on one side of each slice of bread.
- 2On two of the slices, layer the cucumber, tomato, and onion evenly.
- 3Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the vegetables.
- 4Add fresh cilantro leaves on top of the vegetables.
- 5Top with the remaining slices of bread, chutney side down.
- 6Press down gently to secure the sandwich.
- 7Cut the sandwiches diagonally into halves or quarters.
- 8Serve immediately or wrap in parchment paper for later.
