Turkish Donut with Walnuts and Halva

Mix warm water with yeast and sugar in a bowl and let it sit until frothy, about 5-10 minutes.
Combine flour, salt, and melted butter in a large mixing bowl.
Add the yeast mixture and eggs to the flour mixture and knead until smooth, about 10 minutes.
Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Roll the dough into small balls and let them rest for another 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat until shimmering.
Fry the dough balls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes each.
Remove the donuts and drain on paper towels.
Prepare a syrup by boiling sugar, water, and lemon juice for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Dip the warm donuts in the syrup, then roll them in crushed walnuts and cinnamon.
Serve warm, topped with pieces of halva and a dusting of powdered sugar.
